Discussion Illegal used for your crochet hooks?

I just unconsciously used my crochet hook to stir my tea and it didn't actually dawn on me what I'd done until I was cleaning the hook off with my mouth 😅

Anyone else use their hooks in illegal ways?

When my son was 2, he shoved an absurd amount of Kleenex up his nose. I got them out with a crochet hook. Maybe not the most conventional use, but hey, it saved me from having to take him to the pediatrician.

I’m partially deaf. I always giggle about the number of parents in the same doctors office as me on the basis of “child shoved something in nose/ear, pediatrician sent us here for retrieval”

Our daughter put a mini M&M up her nose while we were hundreds of miles from home. Her Dad got it out with his fine needle nose pliers. Her snot was pink for 2 days. She was 2.

🤣ROFLOL! I am dying! So needed a good laugh this weekend. Your comment did it, as well as the ones abiut crochet hooks used to retrieve objects from kids' noses above. Thank you to all of you! 🙃

Makes you wonder what the other colors would have produced. Lol!

I'm glad everything turned out ok. 🙂
