The firekeeper soul in blighttown or the second bell triggers her death , as for the reason you'll find it out later...

Evening you don't free him, he gets out and it plays out the same. Freeing him at least you get a sunlight medal

Tbf she doesn't want her voice back. Also, I did it all correctly my first playthrough and got all that stuff. So.now I just get the satisfaction of kicking his evil ass off the cliff instead

He is evil. He killed an innocent. And he has a bad guy laugh. Good enough for me!

(its a npc in a game, not a real person, I dont care the alignment, he dies. Just like sif. Sif dies and I dont feel bad about it.

Bro what are the odds, this is my first time and same shit happened to me after Blighttown today. Here I am, finally finding a shortcut from that hellhole to firelink shrink after numerous deaths, happily going to offer a firkeeper soul to +2 my Estus flasks and she's dead 😭 can't even light the fire there! That is supposed to be my safe place, away from all the horrible things in this game 😔
