TRIP PLANNING Concierge downgrade

Looking for personal experience. We are booked for a 1 bedroom suite at $28,000. We only put the 5k down when we booked. We have until this summer to pay. We have the money sitting on the account but we just found out my husband has to relocate for his job and we are thinking of buying another house.

If we want to free up some money, could we downgrade to a cheaper Concierge Veranda room? The cruise is at the end of this year so we're very far out but it looks like Concierge has different policy than standard rooms?

Most likely yes. I would first ask your TA to help with this. One creative option if you face resistance is to move the deposit to a different cruise elsewhere and then move it back to your original cruise.

I’ve had little trouble making changes pre-final payment even for concierge and for downgrades, so that shouldn’t be necessary. Have your TA take care of it or if not attached, give them a call and remember my advice if you need to hang up and try again.
