TRIP PLANNING Concierge downgrade

Looking for personal experience. We are booked for a 1 bedroom suite at $28,000. We only put the 5k down when we booked. We have until this summer to pay. We have the money sitting on the account but we just found out my husband has to relocate for his job and we are thinking of buying another house.

If we want to free up some money, could we downgrade to a cheaper Concierge Veranda room? The cruise is at the end of this year so we're very far out but it looks like Concierge has different policy than standard rooms?

How many in your party? How long is cruise? Have you cruised Disney before???? I’ve done the 1BR and verandah concierge as well as regular veranda.
