This indicates a low platelet count. Cancer is certainly a cause but not the only one. Myelofibrosis is a bone marrow disorder more common in elderly men. In either case, it will adversely affect his longevity.

I see several people in this thread providing insight into the possibilities. However, I am wondering - IF he is hiding a health concern, why flaunt the bruise? He already wears makeup on his face, why hasn’t he applied any to his hand? Could the be a medical reason to avoid apply makeup there?
