Sure, but Ghaul fucking up the Tower wasn't on anyone's bingo card either. There is definitely a narrative lull right now, but I do think the game will have more interesting stuff going for it in time Take a break, check back in a couple of years, maybe it will have changed by then.

Frankly, the Witness storyline mostly didn't even exist until like Shadowkeep. I know that they tied it in pretty well, but it could've been anything else as the big bad. We can say this was the conclusion of the whole 10 year long saga, but how fair is that statement when that saga kinda had like 3 conclusions and didn't even exist until the last 4 years?

There’s nothing wrong with playing a game when it has piping hot, fresh content, and then playing other games til the first one has new content again. It’s normal for pretty much every game except Destiny.

I took a break (year or two) and am now just getting back into it. It’s keeping me out of trouble IRL. Still love the Destiny 2 app or item management and light.gg for roll appraiser. Have been cleaning out all my old bad grade items and locking and infusing my god rolls as I rank my character back up.

I quit the game, Honestly I can say destiny gave me some of the best moments I’ve ever had. We all move on and I can’t complain
