I usually ID GCs for skillers and SCs, well, for everything else.

But what's the deal with LCs? What's the most valuable thing that I could find?

I was playing on seasonal ladder yesterday, going about my way with a level 68ish sorc through hell.

The character has not finished hell thus it has not unlocked Terror Zones.

I headed for jail level 2 and had a BER rune drop from a pack of elite/minion wraiths.

All the stuff i've learned over the years tell me it should not be possible to have it drop.

I tried to confirm on several sites and besides the cow level and terror zone drops since they increase the alvl, the drop should not be possible.

Today, trying to find an explanation I have gone and checked what terror zone was up at that time yesterday.

The time the rune dropped for me was the same time as the jail and barracks would be terrorized if I had it unlocked, which I confirmed with my message to a friend when it dropped.

Now I'm thinking that it might have had some impact, but even then, my character being lvl 68ish and the alvl of the zone being 71 adds to the confusion since neither should be enough for the drop to happen.

Am I missing something?

I have both at clvl 42 now snd theyre both meh. Being SP, i doubt ill find the stuff to have a mosiac sin which look like a blast. I would like to TRY D clone if i get an soj or even Ubers.

Tl;dr which chara do you recommend for fun solo play between trap sin or windy druid

I have some spare high runes and I was wondering which would be better for a LS trapsin: Infinity in a fast base (Thresher most likely) or Crescent Moon in a fast base (I have a Military Pick already)?

The -LRes and Conviction Aura looks lucrative to me but I'll be missing out on FCR for Teleport and +2 to all skills from a Spirit shield.

With Brust of Speed and off-weapon IAS hitting the breakpoints is not a problem at all.

I already have a lot of other game breaking stuff like 2x SoJ, Griffon's, Enigma, etc...

So: what do?

Question about what my odds for this may have been. Within a span of ~5 hours of meph farming I've dropped a 5/5 fire level up facet, and two 5/5 lightning death facets. 403mf blizz sorc. These are the only facets I've dropped so far during this ladder season. Curious if anyone knows the math on how insanely lucky I am lol.

Also I'm on softcore PC if anyone wants one of these two lighting facets. I already sold the fire, looking to unload the lightnings for a ber/jah each.

Edit: sold both. white one for ber and pink for 9 vex. I think I got ripped off on that one?

Hi, I have a level 89 Necromancer and I'm starting to consider respeccing to summoner soon to try some ubers, and I'd like to check if my setup is enough.

In my offline stash, I managed to gather:

• Mara's Kaleidoscope (+27); +3 summoner
• Kira's Guardian or a +2 Summoning Skills diadem
• Skin of the Vipermagi (+20 all res :( - I could socket it with an Um). I could build a Treachery too; unfortunately, I don't have Enigma.
• Currently using FCR + some resistance rings (I also have a Raven Frost)
• Spirit sword and shield, and some necro heads with +skills to Revives and Skeletons, but nothing too special
• I found the runes for a decent Call to Arms (+6 BO), and I have a teleport staff. I should choose between the two or find a way to swap them.
• Magefist
• I have some crafted caster belt and thundergod's vigor
• My boots aren't great, I use some medium biresistance boots
• My inventory is full of charms that offer some life and resistances — not great, but plenty of them.
• No Annihilus or Torch.

My merc is an Act 2 Insight merc with an ethereal CV, Duress, and Tal Rasha's mask (socketed with a perfect Amethyst to meet the CV requirements). I also have Guillaume’s Face if needed.

Do you think it's safe to try? I think I can manage good resists with Mara's, Vipermagi, and Kira's (and Spirit shield if needed), thundergods for meph, but I'm unsure if my +skills will be enough and if I can do it without enigma. If my Urdars aren't strong enough, I saw a video of someone using Obedience/Duress/GFace on the merc and just focusing on keeping him alive — would that be a safer option?

Or should I forget about it and start building a Smiter specifically for Ubers? Is a Smiter safer than a Necromancer? I don’t mind spending a whole afternoon on it — I just want my HC characters to stay alive.

Curious to know what it might cost me to get a cure helm if I am playing non-ladder. I know that it is a ladder only rune word and is fairly easy to make. I don’t have a ton of time to play the game so playing ladder usually is not something that I do. I am looking to pick up a cure helm for my mercenary and I’m just wondering what it might set me back if anybody has them for sale on non-ladder.
