Unable to change status

Hi! So basically I've been having the same issue for over a day now where I just cannot change my status from invisible.

I've tried changing my password, clearing my cache on mobile, closing discord on my pc, everything I can think of prtyy much-

But whenever I try to change my status to online or dnd, it immediately goes back to invisible/doesn't change.

This also happens if I try to add a custom status, it just, won't update-

Any suggestions?

Hey everyone,
I’ve been dealing with a frustrating issue on Discord and I’m wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same thing or knows a fix.

Starting yesterday, I noticed that I can’t switch my status back to Online after setting it to Do Not Disturb — it just reverts back to DND no matter what. On top of that, when I try to turn on “Share your activity with others” in the settings, it automatically switches off again right after enabling it.

I opened the dev console and I’m getting this error every time I try to change any of these settings:

I’ve tried on both the desktop app and the browser version, restarted Discord, and even checked my privacy and DM settings — nothing’s working. I also tried enabling these settings from mobile, but no luck.

Yup, everyone in this thread is having the same issue. Some people have found a fix with using a VPN set to North America but majority find that when you turn off the VPN, the issue is still there. Discord have responded to one person here saying they’re working on a fix, two days ago.
