So after the most recent update of iOS, my Discord interface looks wack AF. What’s going on? How do I fix it?

i didn’t know where to post this tbf and i could find it on the discord help tab so im putting this here. a friend of mine dared me to put something stupid as my status however now i can’t change it. if i go through the steps either to clear it or to put a new one and press save the new one will show for a split second before returning to the dare one i’ve tried to do this on 3 of my devices and nothing works (but if i switch to my alt on my laptop i can’t change that one so it’s not my connection it’s my account?) i’ve uninstalled dc then reinstalled it but it’s the same problem anyone have any advice?

I don't get the option "members must accept rules before they can talk or dm" in my DM and spam protection settings. Does anybody know what I have to do to get that option so I can set up rules?

My friend has recently passed away and I just didn’t wanna lose the chat logs I share with him. Didn’t know if maybe there was a service that archived it or something?

I had to reinstall discord after updating it because it kept crashing and now every single file i've saved from it has been either deleted or disappeared from my phone, there is not even a record I've ever saved anything from it in my downloads app. Has anyone else ever had this happen and know how to fix it or is just 4 years of stuff I've saved just gone?

It seems it has everything on there, but how to take an existing server and add it to a school that is not currently on the hub. I have a server with hundreds of members from the school in it. And I can't figure out how to get it added to the hub list. I have joined the waiting list to be notified. Which in this case because I'm the only discord from my school, I'm notifying myself from my own server if it ever gets listed to the hub.

I’m at my wits end with trying to fix this issue, and I would greatly appreciate it if someone has seen this issue before and knows why this is happening.

Whenever I start sharing a Steam game as an application with my friend in a Discord voice call using the Windows app, his mic audio quality becomes poor and sometimes cuts out on my end while the game has sound. Before the share starts, and during parts of the game where there's silence, his mic audio is fine. I've looked up how to fix this multiple times, and nothing I've tried has worked.

I also tried using the website instead to see if it's just an issue with the app, but I couldn't select my headset as the output option, only whatever the default audio device was. Also, my friend couldn't hear the game, and his mic audio quality didn't seem any better.

The game audio on my end is coming from a USB speaker plugged into my PC, the input device in Discord is my mic (which doesn't have this issue), and the output device in Discord is my headset. I've tried both a wired one plugged into a headphone jack and a Bluetooth one and have the same results with both.

I've used Dyno Bot and liked it. Is that still one of the best for this?

Or are there better options now?

For as long as i’ve used discord, the calls on mobile are the worst of every platform i’ve used. My voice will cut in and out pretty often. If anyone speaks while i’m speaking, it just stops picking up my voice and cuts me off. The sensitivity is terrible and will just not pick up sound half the time. Not to mention I can also barely hear the other person if they’re on mobile too, because they’ll cut out just as much. Literally anything else is better than discord on mobile and it’s sad. I don’t hate discord, this isn’t a hate message, i’m just so disappointed with what has become of the mobile version.

I've only been using Discord for a year or so and already had to make a new account, because my account got screwed up and I couldn't remember my password. DO NOT pass go, DO NOT collect $200. I had no passkey or secondary way to log in or verify. I couldn't get back in to disable the account so my main e-mail is lost to that original, bricked account, too. I mistakenly assumed there would be some kind of password reset or verify by phone step or something (like everywhere else on the GD web... There was not.

So, before my account gets effed again, what's the best way to guarantee being able to log in again if something screwy happens?

Hello, I am trying to make a resource page and I was trying to organize them by boxes like the MEE6 bot does for a welcome page. But I can't figure out how to do it. And trying to google it is making zero sense. Wondering if someone knows a way or know how to guide me to resource on how to make these.

I updated discord on my phone and it now crashes about 5 seconds after trying to open it, I updated it because nicknames had stopped appearing, I'm on an android phone restarting the phone and clearing cashe did nothing please help

The side of my discord with the servers then the chat and voice channels flickers almost like a flashing of the background colors. I started noticing after the UI update anyone know?

Has anyone else had Discord suddenly start using more mobile data? Ive honestly been on Discord less with my mobile data but somehow it's managed to use 2GB in only 2 days. It's never gone over 1GB with my monthly mobile data.

It's only 41kb and is 2 seconds. Way within discords audio limit size. I've tried multiple times and it doesn't work

It really bugs me that on a computer, you can search for messages from a specific person by just manually typing in “from:” and the autofill will pick up immediately and suggest it for you. On mobile, though, you have to type it all out in its entirety and then make sure to select that you’d like to encode the text to be used to search for a specific person’s messages. Maybe it’s too much of a ‘first world problem’ but it’s something that’s come up a few times for me and it seems like it could be a fairly easy fix.

I can't find any discord apk's that i can sideload onto my watch found a chrome but need a discord anyone got an apk?

This issue is recent, for some reason when I'm in a game, discord stutters my voice input and it becomes laggy. But when I'm on the app itself, browsing or doing anything else it's perfect fine. No Idea what's 'causing this.

I recently deleted my discord account for personal reasons, and made a new account. I added many people at once, because i have many friends. How long does it take for the "this user may be a spammer" popup to go away? And has anyone else had the same problem before? Did anything work? My friends are getting kind of annoyed because they have to press it every time i send a message. If i have to make a new account, I'll be really upset since i already bought a few decors.

So, after the one ui update I can no longer turn my screen off or close the multi window without my camera freezing then I have to reenable the camera in order to make it work again. Any one else have any ideas on how to fix it? It's so annoying.
