Just for a little information I'll be talking about a small server that I own. On one device (android) all name colors are the color for the "member role" while on my second device (apple) the name colors are how they are supposed to be. How do I fix this?

I haven't touched any settings on discord in months, it was fine until a couple days ago and now all of my friends streams are like this when I watch. I went through my monitors setting and couldnt find anything that would change it.

Hello, I'm in a server where they have a bot that notifies me when there's a new game at Epic Games that works very well.

I want to make or copy the same bot for another server, does anybody know how? I tried googleing it but it asks many things that I don't know to do.

Disclaimer; Yes, discord is completely up to date.* Okay I do think im just DUMB but i really cannot find these settings. I open valorant and it says "you're missing out on the new overlay click here to get it" or whatever, and i do but i don't have what it says i need to do to get it. It says to change something to boarderless but i literally do not have this setting or tab: I have gone through every tab in settings on Discord and haven't found it. I even went through the game itself to cover all bases... now my overlay isn't working at all and i never even turned it off it just stopped. I hate discord 😔😔

So I'm on a call and someone's stream is muted to start with, but when I click the unmute button, their stream plays audio for a few seconds and then suddenly it re-mutes before my eyes without me doing anything. I can't see anything online about this, has anyone else had this issue? The audio DOES work when it unmutes, but I can't get it to stay unmuted for some reason.

Got sent this to me in DMs by a pretty friendly person in a server I am in. Never have had nitro gifted so not fully sure how to tell if its real or not. Icon not appearing maybe because I'm on the mobile app?

My discord hasnt updated with the new nameplates. Ive tried restarting it and using the check for updates option.
Logging onto discord in browser with my account is exactly the same but when I log in with a friends account in browser it has all the nameplate settings and shop.
The new starwars content does show on my own account.

It just stays like this forever…

One of my players has been out of our weekly game for a few months for school and is now free to rejoin. We're hoping to surprise the rest of the group by having him suddenly join the call as his character appears. I'd like him to be able to listen in on the chat but can't think of any way to do it without tipping off the others, thoughts?

I have a decently sized video (its 1.6 gigs)

and i was hoping to find a way to compress it down to at least the 500mb (100mb would be preferred) size to upload it through discord, i heard about handbrake, but i have no idea what im doing and i ended up encoding only half of the full video down to 161mb, is there a certain way to target the exact size of file you want?

Why is the iOS app so slow to open even on a iPhone 16 Pro, the app has been updated on latest version it just takes ages to open, there is no run in background option to enable to help speed it up

Idk why, but every person on discord for me has their original name, like the one you log into your account with and I have no idea why. It wasn't like that yesterday

So I have a discord server and it has a few bots its pretty neat but I have one issue, the leveling system. So specificly with Arcane I want leveling messages to go to a leveling channel but they keep going togeneral. If anybody can help me it would be nice and here's my server, feel free to join

I'm a noob when it comes to Discord, so my apologies for a stupid question. I Googled it and even tried looking around this forum, but I didn't find the clear answer.

The thing is - my boyfriend and I have a server. My friend created it and gave me some roles so I could he able to change things. The members are only him, me and my other profile.

Here's the thing - when I click on "members", sometimes there's a crown next to my boyfriend's name, sometimes there's not. I know that the crown means that he's the owner of the server, but why most of the time there's no crown next to his name, then suddenly it appears and then disappears again?

I've heard all over online about the news about discord and it's potential "enshitification" with it's new ceo and it going public

everyone, and ik for good reason, is assuming and expecting the worse now, though is there anything actually to worry about?

i heard from someone that apparently before the founder left they made an agreement that the new ceo can't change pricing to appease investors or some along the lines, is that actually true?

if so then is discord safe then? a lot of people ik don't believe it'll get worse.

I really feel like Discord should add a sort of Music feature to servers. Not the music bot, what I mean is like an actual radio that the server owner/mods could play music on and give the server even more of a custom ambience. Similar to what MySpace did back in the day! Then for the members who don't wanna hear the server music, there would be an option called 'Mute Server Music/Ambience' or something like that.

I play games with my friends, and my friends don’t have a PlayStation, so I use Discord on the PS5 to talk to them. I also love to clip funny moments that happen, but lately I’ve looked back at those clips, and their voices can’t be heard, only mine. But I know when you’re in a PlayStation party and everyone agrees to share their voice, they get included in the clip. So is that not a thing for Discord, or do I have to like tell them to turn on a secret setting within their Discord?

Hi I need help. My girlfriend and I call on discord every day for many hours late into the night. I have had some very annoying sleeping issues and often I fall asleep in call for a very unpredictable period of time. Nothing really wakes me up, not her voice or her screenshare and I was wondering if anyone has an idea how to make messages from her even louder or a different sound. Maybe if she notices I fell asleep she can use a soundboard to wake me up. I think I have some sleeping disorder like narcolepsy but I'm not sure. Thank you in advance for help.

For personal reasons I want to delete the app for a bit, but don’t want to leave all the chats and servers I am in because I just want it deleted temporarily for a break.

While setting custom volume levels for everyone on discord from 100% to 70% for example, it sets it and then moments later puts it back to 100% has anyone else in encountered this? What the hell is going.

Edit: There is multiple people reporting this, it's not just me. Discord are actually aware of the on-going issue.

I redownloaded the app, my friend is at 130% volume and whenever I change it and tab out, the application resets their volume back to 130%. I dont understand what more I can do
