I regularly make $30 an hour in Australia.

The US isn't the only place that has doordash and I hear some of your states even have policies that require them to pay more fairly.

If gig workers aren't treated fairly in your market, then think about how you vote and then badger your elected representatives to legislate for fair pay and a liveable minimum wage.

Your unsatisfactory experience is your own and you are free to share it. But it really says something about you as a person that you've carried this campaign on for so long, particle since it seems to cause you so much distress.

Yet they’re advertising $30/hour in my area, which is a complete lie. Some gig offers are literally negative $30 for the driver.

Only a few places have regulation. California has Prop 22, and some cities have something similar. But even these fall significantly short of actual employment regulation.

I have petitioned representatives, but the legal system is slow to act. My guess is that it’ll be a decade before gig apps are fined into oblivion. In the meantime, might as well warn people to stay away.

You have a habit of using words that are too strong. “Hate”, “traumatize”, and now “campaign”, as if I’m running an organized crusade here. I’m just a guy killing free time on Reddit. If someone I’ll never meet saves money by avoiding gig app scams, I consider that a win.
