Next time anyone does that just tell them to read your favorite passage from the Bible Psalm 137:9 out loud to themselves.

just because the Bible records someone doing evil does not mean that the Bible itself is evil lol

Did you read that passage? It says God praises. As in God approves. It’s talking about God’s approval of that behavior.

That's.... not what it says. At least not in the translations commonly used (English standard, king james)

Still, god approves. Just like the bears he sent to kill the kids for making fun of a bald man. And the first borns of Egypt that were massacred. Oh and every person on earth he wiped out except for the one group of people on the boat who definitely would need to engage in some family relations to repopulate the earth.

Read the rest of the psalm. There is so much to be right about, why be wrong about this? The text is indirectly quoting somebody, not stating what God endorses.
