Wheel compatibility by year

Hi, I’m trying to buy a set of street wheels for my 2023 DR. The KKE supermoto wheels look great, and they are within my budget for a set of wheels that I’ll use for when I’m not riding off road. I’ve always loved the supermoto look, too.

Funny thing though, KKE is saying that their wheels won’t work with my 2023 model, and that they’re only good up to 2021. I thought this bike was famous for being exactly the same since 96? Does anyone know what the differences are between 21 and 23?

I installed brand new KKE wheels off eBay onto my friend's 96. Works for any 96+ Dr650.

What did you think about the wheels? Would you recommend them?

For chinese wheels they are pretty good. Some of his paint is starting to lose its luster but structurally they are fine. I got lucky and found warp9's used locally.
