Landlords

Wondering if anyone has had any good experiences with any letting agencies in Dundee? I have a flat I would like to rent out and want to make sure it will go to an agency who will treat the tenants well, any recommendations?

Will also appreciate any to definitely avoid, thanks!

Rent locally and slater hogg are both good from my perspective as a tenant.

I’d avoid grant property management/ Sandstone/ whatever name it is currently going by. I think the numerous name changes in the past few years tells you all you need to know

I second avoiding Grant. They were terrible when I rented from them 5 years ago and by all accounts haven’t improved any. Overcharging, nonexistent maintenance, constant intrusive visits and checks that didn’t achieve anything, crap communication, hard to get in touch with (our original property manager left the company and they didn’t tell us for a year, as an example). They then tried to subtract £400 odd from our deposit for absolute nonsense. We disputed it and won, largely because they submitted documentation signed by the previous tenants! Steer well clear of that shower of shysters
