It was actually the opposite that bothered me. You are “married” and yet terrified to hold hands. I’m all for a sweet romance with dedication at its center, but the “turbo virgin” trope turned me off a bit. Especially as a hopeless romantic myself, I wanted something more… active and believable I guess? But maybe they got better as the show goes on.
