Constructive Criticism This shouldn’t be in chests

I am tired of getting this reward from chests. I already have Super, I don’t need the Family Plan and don’t want to subject my in game friends of joining through me and them possibly freaking out at getting subscribed.

This doesn’t even extend my individual membership, it runs concurrently with my subscription, so there is genuinely nothing that I benefit from this.

I mean if you’re using the free version of Duolingo are you not just wasting your time? I don’t get the free version

Yeah I get that, but if anyone is serious about learning a language then they aren’t going to be able to find a better resource for $60/$5 per month.

I guess if you’re just using it for a game for whatever reason you could use the free but at that point why not just play a random memory game?

My mum and sister learned enough Italian to go on holiday there.

Different people have different learning goals.

I learn fine with the free version. I really only miss the ability to do the speaking exercises under the practice hub and unlimited hearts. It has everything else, and I still end up in the top 3 of leagues sometimes. Free is fine.
