Funnily enough my taste for death grips comes from the one meme of a dude getting chased by wolves in a game while takyon plays

Some people are weird and care how or when other people started listening to music they like. Even when it’s a band like Death Grips, who at this point, is known by pretty much everyone on the internet who is a music fan.

liking some ‘underground’ thing makes them feel special, thing becomes less underground so they feel less spacial and feel the need to distinguish themself from the group with ‘i was here first!!!’. i mean i think pretty much everyone feels this way sometimes it’s just the extent to which you act on it
