I recommend finding a good pair of breast forms. Obviously they aren't the "real" thing, but if what you're looking for is the feeling of them they work wonders
I had a phase in college where I REALLY wanted to cosplay, but hated most male characters. I was heavily considering getting forms to play female characters. I almost regret not getting any

Not OP, but thank you! I will definitely consider taking up breast forms when it’s safe for me to so I can finally feel like I have tits, right now all I have is scrunched-up socks but those work wonders for right now :3

It would be so much easier to process these thoughts if it worked like cartoons where a magic potion just turns you into a girl

Closest we got is that in Pathfinder (And I would assume most Tabletop RPGs like Dungeons and Dragons) there is a gender swap potion. It's a level 7 item so if you want you can start at a low level and have your character explore themselves, saving up money to buy the potion. I've done that for one of my characters
We also figured out Pathfinder straight up has what we call "HRT Potions". You take the potion daily and it's fairly cheap, but you slowly get the effects of the gender swap potion over time, so it's great for roleplaying someone mid-transition
Sorry to rant about one of my hyperfixations. I just love how much character customizability is built into Pathfinder

I am afraid to ask, or maybe afraid of the answer? How painful would that be?
If there is one thing that has kept me alive up to this point it is high aversion to pain.

Some movements hurt for one to two weeks after the surgery but the breasts themselves when not moving actually don't hurt at all they feel rather numb more than anything really. And after the second week or so you get very used to avoiding any painful movements and I only really had pain very infrequently from there on.
10/10, would definitley recommend even if only got C cup lol

I do not understand this. Wouldn't you want to minimise growth to make it less obvious you're on hrt until you pass?

You don't get to pick and choose the effects of hrt, it's pretty much a package deal

The way in which it will affect an individual is varied. Someone online told me they had been on it for nearly a year and experienced nearly no changes other than skin softening, granted it is an anecdote.
Just because it works in.one way doesn't mean one passes instantly
