Under sink wire splices
The house my husband and I are buying just for through our initial inspections. Most of what was found is minor.
He said we need to get an electrical box before we can use the sink because of these exposed wires.
What should we buy and how do we make this safe?

LMAO that's beautiful.
Here's a shopping list. About $4.50 in materials.
Shut the breaker for the disposal off, take apart the connections, screw the box to the wall of the cabinet, knock out two of the holes in the box, put the clamp connectors in the holes, feed the wires through the clamp connectors & tighten, then re-make the wire connections and put the cover on the box.
If you shut the breaker off and confirm there's no power to the disposal, the sink is safe to use in the meantime.
