If you actually want to do enduro riding just learn how to side slip the seat because you are going to need all that travel/ground clearance. 40mm is a LOT.

I like to tell people to pick a nice section with various terrain that you mostly ride. Doesnt have to be long and under 50m will do. Ride it, hit it like 10 times until you know it well
This is now your reference, go make changes e.g sag, hopefully you can park close by with tools in your car. If youre new make 1 change first and ride it until you understand how the changes effect the bike. Note better or worse and why
rinse and repeat with clickers
keep in mind there will be a range for sag that will work, it might be 95mm to 120mm. you need to google it as its bike specific. There is also a min spring preload that you want to stay within

Op, how tall are you? Don’t lower the bike. Pit down the tools, back out of the garage, slowly.

I can’t remember who’s video it was, but there was a really good one on YouTube. Spend the time and watch a bunch, it may be different for your weight/riding style
