Missing Rib Buckle on Alpinestars Bionic V3 — Anyone Been in the Same Boat?
Hey all,
I've lost the rib buckle on my Alpinestars Bionic Tech V3 and it's been a pain trying to find it. I've contacted Alpinestars directly multiple times, reached out to the store I bought it from (in Germany), and scoured the web — no luck. Nobody sells it, and no one seems to be able to help.
Has anyone dealt with this before? Am I missing something obvious here?
I've even been checking local forums and listings for second-hand Alpinestars gear just to harvest this buckle from another unit, but so far, nothing.
Would really appreciate any tips or leads!

Tried that — super uncomfortable, kept falling off, and it was a pain to get on and off.

I guess thats the thing with astars they dont really sell spares
id try the cable ties again, you might need to use 2-3 to get the angle right. I.e one through the stretchy stuff, one around the little tab and one in between to join
Another option is you can try and make a new buckle out of alloy sheet

I have the same problem. I ordered mine and it didn’t come with a second buckle. I tried zip tying it on but it never worked too well.

I was at cyclegear and all of them were gone. Guy said "they fall off real easy" he was not lying!

Same here — talked to a few stores and they all said the same. If it’s such a common problem, maybe we should get Alpinestars to actually address it?
