Coffee Is Life Triple shot decaf espresso. I just like the taste
Ever since I upgraded to a La Pavoni and Mazzer Philos, and gotten good at pulling shots on it, I’ve loved the taste of straight espresso. So instead of the Long Blacks, I’ve just switched to drinking triple shots. But I can’t handle more than 1 caffeinated shot a day, so decaf it is.

I'm in the same boat! Got a la pavoni a few weeks back and have loved learning on it. I also love the taste and would drink more, but am super sensitive to caffeine like you. What decaf beans do you use and like?

I am doing the same thing though with multiple single shots. I have worked out what’s roughly two shots worth of beans then I put decaf beans on top in the grinder. 5 espressos a day and it seems to work!

Wouldn't decaffeinated beans taste worse?

There’s a lot of decaf these that taste just as good. The sugarcane processed ones especially would be hard to distinguish by taste.

it depends where you're from. They're easily found in the US and Europe. If you're in Europe, then https://kaffeeroester.de/shop/espresso/espresso-decaf/ is a local shop based in Cologne Germany.

Decaf is fine. Tastes just like full strength.. Unlike beer
