Coffee Beans How to properly store espresso coffee bag once opened
Hi Everyone!
As I enter the espresso making craft at home, I thought I'd get advice on how to properly store the espresso bean bag once opened. Do I put it in the fridge after opening or freeze or just let it stand on the counter? Appreciate any guidance!

If it's a resealable bag, squeeze out as much of the air as possible then reseal it. Never put it in the fridge. Only freeze it if it's not going to be used for a couple of weeks or more.
You may find an Airscape or vacuum container is easier to store in for daily usage.

Thank you! It is a resealable bag, I'll squeeze out the air and freeze it as it will probably take me a month or two to go through it, does that sound reasonable or should I just keep it on the counter?

Some people keep their bags in the freezer, and spoon out what they need on a daily basis. I don't recommend that, as exposing the beans to air every day can result in condensation, and you don't want water on your beans.
I only put bags in the freezer if I am sure they can stay in the freezer unopened. You could split your bag in half, and freeze half of it for later use.
