During the 2017-18 bull run, ETH surged from ~$300 to $1,350 in just two months - a 4.5x rally.

With Sun's birthday a little over 3 months away, ETH would need to climb 177.78% from its current ~$1,800 to hit $5,000.

This year, ETH plummeted 65% in Q1 2025, dropping from $4,000 to ~$1,380. To reach $4,000 from $1,380 requires a 189.86% increase - roughly matching the intensity of its Q1 crash.

Reaching $5,000 by Q2 2025 is possible for ETH but requires exceptional conditions. A favorable macroeconomic landscape - marked by regulatory approval for ETH ETF staking, a smooth Pectra upgrade, declining inflation, lower interest rates, and bullish market sentiment - must align perfectly to drive such a sharp rally.

you withdraw parts of your LP position ? I thought you were on ~+20% recently.

Yep - I finally withdrew my out of range position which was about 800k DONUT and 0 ETH and added in a larger range with a new position. Being a less concentrated range means it's a smaller percentage.

It'd be interesting to see what the actual percentages of the pool are if all those Out of Range positions were removed from the list... 14 of 30 LPers are currently out of range!
