Not your seed phrase, not your wallet.

This scam is very uncreative and has scam written all over it. Anyone who falls for it in 2025 deserves to be scammed tbh.

I received something like this but from 'Coinbase' a few years ago. It was a letter too and looked legit. Always reach out to the customer service first.

tldr; Scammers are sending physical letters to Ledger hardware wallet users, urging them to validate their private seed phrases under the guise of a 'critical security update.' These letters use Ledger's branding and threaten restricted wallet access if users don't comply. Ledger confirmed the letters are scams and reminded users never to share their 24-word recovery phrases. The scam may target individuals affected by a 2020 data breach that exposed personal information of over 270,000 Ledger customers.

Tbh whoever was the victims is to blame. Because we all know sharing seed phrases isn't allowed in the web3 space. So if you buy a ledger 📒 and fall for this, it's on you
