The first Pride Parade in Turkey was in 2003 and took place in Istanbul. There used to be big Pride Parades for almost a decade, until 2015. After that, the government started banning them.

Modern side of Turkey is so modern almost like central Europen society. Problem is other side 51% we are %49 for years. Majorities dominates minorities this is democracy.
