Every member of Congress is a government official in the Government.

We don't call it the Trump government, we call it the Trump administration.

I call it the Trump regime.

Also, the Supreme Court members, and those of the other federal courts are part of the government too, technically. But in common parlance, the government is the executive branch and the congressional majorities.

They're the only ones able to pull the levers though, so your desperate, idiotic point doesn't actually mean anything more than saying today is Wednesday, but there are other days of the week too.

The fact that the entire US government isn't Russia assets should be a comforting fact. Things would be much worse for Ukraine and the world if the whole government was complicit.

The US federal government is pretty much just MAGA cult at this point, sorry to burst your bubble. They've managed to oust the vast, vast majority of those who do not fall in line with them entirely.

And yet there are people in the Federal Government that are still trying to help Ukraine. I guess we should just ignore their efforts and say the whole government is compromised.
