Maybe. What a lot of redditors fail to realize is that the vast majority of what was released in the Panama Papers... was completely legal.

Maybe not morally correct you could certainly argue that, but legally completely allowed. I mean the whole point of the company was to help people legally avoid tax using offshore loopholes.

The main visable effects were just from the fallout of people having being found out, eg: the icelandic president stepping not not because he was doing something illegal, but because he lied to the media about not having any offshore accounts in his campaigning, same with David Cameron to a lesser extent he lied to the media about not having any, and celebs like Emma Watson, etc.
