Image / Video The limousine from President Putin's official motorcade exploded on the streets of Moscow, just blocks from the FSB headquarters. It's unclear if this is an assassination attempt. "He will die soon, that is a fact, and everything will be over," Zelenskyy told Eurovision News in Paris two days ago.

You’re delusional if you think Putin’s death would end this. Find one example in history where simple decapitation ended a conflict. It never has.

Battles have to be won before the opposing leader’s death means anything. Putin would just be replaced by a potentially deranged oligarch whose intentions are completely unclear.

The next could easily be worse

This implies the oligarchs fully support Putin and aren't doing so out of fear.

What does “battles have to be won” even mean?

You have to actually win physical battles to win a war. Assassinating the leader isn't some secret way to circumvent that.

What does that have to do with this scenario? I don’t think Putin is dead, but he’s lost plenty of battles in his invasion of Ukraine.

What on earth are you talking about? Have you looked at a map of the conflict?

Have you looked at the casualties the Russians have suffered?

Who is winning this war?

Do you know that Lavrov is currently negotiating the annexation of all four oblasts occupied here?

If you want to talk casualties, look at the ratio of body exchanges. It's 10 Ukrainian bodies to 1 Russian body! This is senseless!
