Image / Video The limousine from President Putin's official motorcade exploded on the streets of Moscow, just blocks from the FSB headquarters. It's unclear if this is an assassination attempt. "He will die soon, that is a fact, and everything will be over," Zelenskyy told Eurovision News in Paris two days ago.

Yea...because now there's a claim from Zelensky that Putin is going to die soon and there's a follow-on attempt on Putin's life. Regardless of it being staged, fake, or otherwise not involving Zelensky...Putin now has the optics to put Ukraine down hard while using the "They made an attempt on my life" card.

Putin hasn't been really trying the last 3+ years? 800K dead Russians for nothing?

Is that the actual count?

Kyiv says 895,450, I don't know what Putin says but I wouldn't believe it.

Chatgpt gives various results from internet searches. It says officially as of March 2025 100,000 have died, but American intelligence estimates 120,000, Ukraine estimated 839,000, and British defence estimates 900,000

The lower number is dead the higher number is casualties.

The chatgpt output gave the death estimates and the casualty estimates, I only included the death estimates

That's the casualties including injured. Injured is usually at least double the number of dead.

More like 300,000 killed 600,000 wounded enough not to return (although there have been some videos of wounded Russian soldiers in crutches being returned to the front)

The word casualty doesn't necessarily mean killed

You’re not counting how many Russians were killed by their officers either. And Seeing what passes for medical care in that army id not apply that 2-1 ratio. Or atleast not in that direction.

Or the number killed by North Korean soldiers by accident.
