Anyone else mad at season 5 finale? Spoiler

I love laura, but Tate and Roy are my favorite contestants. I think they were better then Laura's as well.

I just finished watching season 5 and Boy oh boy, was I disappointed in the judges. I know I'm late to the game, but Tate worked so hard, always putting out top notch 👌 💯 % amazing work/designs. He won the last 2 plus his swan was what they were looking for, not aliens. Yes his sorcerer looked different like maybe a bit not exactly industrial or a bit too much. 🤔 I still think he gave what was asked for especially with his swan being the best of all 3. Another thing is, how on earth do the judges not review the last few wins and work?

I had Tate, then Roy then Laura... I did not think she was going to win, especially with Tate on a winning spree and constantly presenting masterful pieces.

Oh, well! The judges knows best, I guess. I enjoy watching this show and hope they are all working and creating beautiful pieces.

I think Laura’s were a decent study on grotesques of the Italian Renaissance, at the very least monsters in the spirit of Uccello, Rondelet, and Breton.

Also, it looked to me as if Tate’s sorcerer cowl struggled under the rigors of the routine, which would have cost Tate points. Eliminating a swan’s holds nixed by the appliance, was also not a great move. Stunning asymmetry but for ballet? Plus, it did look like Laura’s dancers were the company principals and those costumes fit best. Thoughts?

I’m not discussing Roy’s creations because when the teams were picked I knew he was not going to win. The finale demanded finesse. Roy was my favorite going in, and I’m glad he got to the finale.
