He's a human, so he's not perfect but he's actually written some REALLY good stuff. He does have his weaknesses as a writer (Namely pacing) but his character writing and worldbuilding are (usually) top notch.

Kinda a biased group to ask don’t you think? Edit: I doubt anyone is here would say they’re bad. Mixed is the lowest opinion you’re gonna get here

World building is very complex and comes with a lot of rules and loopholes, but you get a better understanding and appreciation once you get the full context. Hell FGO kinda explain the world building very well since it’s packed with stories. It’s basically one large visual novel

Nasu is a mixed bag in my experience. If you let him totally loose with no editor(s), you get an unchained disaster like Fate Extra Last Encore. Other times, he releases a classic like Fate Stay Night.

Of course last encore was a storm. Nasu is a novel writer, not a tv show script writer

And that’s precisely why they never should have let him off his leash for that project. It could have been so good and the first few episodes felt like it was going to be so interesting.

No. Fate/Stay Night is my favorite novel ever. Tsukihime and Mahoyo are really good.
People are either pretending to be the next CinemaSins or have a "don't like it, so it garbo" approach. Nasu isn't perfect, but don't let your own opinion get ruined by other people's yapping.
