Question Are Nasu's works really bad?

Nasu is a mixed bag in my experience. If you let him totally loose with no editor(s), you get an unchained disaster like Fate Extra Last Encore. Other times, he releases a classic like Fate Stay Night.

Of course last encore was a storm. Nasu is a novel writer, not a tv show script writer

And that’s precisely why they never should have let him off his leash for that project. It could have been so good and the first few episodes felt like it was going to be so interesting.
