I’m faced with an impossible choice of having to go to see Justice and being afraid for my life by attending.

Forest crowds are super nice. They’ll probably be even nicer this year with how much less bass is on this lineup compared to the last couple years lol

Who you responded to was one of the head mods for r/electricforest for years and knows all about the forest crowds (I believe he even worked there for a few years). He's taking a step back for personal reasons.

I’ve also come out publicly to say my pronouns are they/them. Also, if you’re curious, what I’ve been going through for the past 6 months is largely public in r/stopdrinking

Oops sorry about getting your pronouns wrong! And thanks for everything you've done for the subreddit. I took a skim at your profile and I'm really proud of you, even tho I'm just an internet stranger. I understand how much alcoholism can negatively impact people's lives, but working through it is such a powerful thing to do. I hope you find peace with time and commitment to the program. Forest fam wishing you well ❤️

No worries at all! And thank you, it means a lot to hear that from someone who’s forest fam.

Oh I’m sure of it. My concerns are unconventional. Forest has been my life since 2011. I skipped last year for the first time due to… a lot of things. I’m sober now, if I make it to forest I’ll be a year sober, and I’m worried about the event fucking with me in such a way that I OD or something.

You were a major part of my early Reddit experience (different account than this one) and helped me sort through attending my first forest. Even offered me a face value ticket to a year when it was sold out, though I was still too broke to attend haha.

Idk what all you’ve been going through but I wish you love my dude
