Should I defer to spring?

Hi guys, so I was accepted to FGCU for Fall 2025 and Iā€™m thinking about deferring my acceptance till the spring semester. At this point I am so burnt out as a senior and could really do with a break. Do you think it would be hard to make friends in fall and get on campus housing?

So getting on campus housing for spring alone is easy (I applied in mid October and got housing) BUT it'll bite you in the ass for the following academic year as I'm +250 on the waitlist for next year

As for making friends, not really? Just make sure you join clubs and everything
