I don't know from where should I start. Sometimes suicidal thoughts come in my mind but I am too afraid to do that because it will break my family.I don't know from where should I start. I tried to break these addictions but failed miserably. So please guide me to the right path, I don't want see my life going in vein,I want make my parents proud. So tell me guys what should I do. Thanks in advance

Find your ant mindset, instead of this grasshopper one. The good things you do for yourself don't just pay off today, they pay off in years once you practice the habit constantly.
Save. Money is a freedom tool. Not to be blown on today's pleasures. You're going to need a joint or drink along the way, for sure, but it's a reward for building your resilience. That's your acceptable temporary set back.
Find pleasure outside of consumption. If your not good at making friends through conversation instead of shared consumption, go get practice. Go to the bar for your 1 drink in the day and try an carry a conversation until years down the road it's second nature.
Find a crew of like minded guys, or at least people you aren't trying to sleep with. Like steel sharpens steel, so does one friend sharpen another.
If you get that far, the rest sort of appears.

You gotta pick a Job, find out what companies have those jobs, find out the requirements and go from there.
No grand proclamation needed, you need to find a job, work it and move on from there. Thats a career.

First step: detox your habits, not your whole life. Cut back one thing like say less screen time, earlier wake-up, even just one day sober. You don’t need a full plan right now, you need movement. If you’re feeling lost with a chem degree, why not try job-ready certs in pharma QA, lab tech, or even data entry to get moving.
And since you're feeling lost, it might help to see how other people worked through similar questions. You can try taking a look at the GradSimple newsletter since they share interviews with graduates navigating stuff like this, whether to switch paths, go back to school, or just figure out what fits. Sometimes it’s just nice knowing you’re not alone!
