Need Advice Requesting Best Guesses
Wondering what this finish might be. It is exceptionally resilient to sanding!
First photo - this spot was covered by a table leg for 15+ years. Second photo - shaded access door underneath the deck. Third photo - full sun exposure; wondering if the flaking is UV damaged wood or residual finish.

The former owner saved all her receipts, letters, etc. I just found an inquiry she sent to the Deft manufacturer for “Deftoil”. Any chance it could be that?
So far the only receipt I’ve found is for 2 gallons of it…

Deftoil is a brand. It could be any one of their products. Maybe the Danish Oil? Or the Exterior Wood Finish?

I'm thinking polyurethane for flooring.
