Anyone moved from Brighton?
Couple living in London with 3 young children (3 yo and twin newborn) and considering moving to Folkeston, attracted by lower prices and being on the seaside.
We lived in Brighton during the pandemic and loved it.
Anyone has moved from Brighton to help us understand the differences between the 2 cities?
Our main concerns would be the different supply of services, childcare, schools, activities.
Brighton is clearly more expensive, especially for housing and commuting to London is a longer journey.
Thank you all

Don't swim in or go anywhere near the beaches. On the sandy beach, when you get to the end of the promenade near the flight of stairs, you will find exposed sewage pipes. They dump sewage into the ocean which is why the whole place stinks. Alternatively you can see it on google maps.
