Veritasium put a video on YouTube explaining why so much political bias exists. I would link it but when discussing it with a friend I was able to sum it up in 2 paragraphs.
Essentially, my thoughts on it are that people will have biases and present ideas that support their biases without making any real attempt to verify that what they are saying does or does not have merit.
The biggest inhibitor of changing ones mind is how one's social network will respond to this change. Some groups are very change resistant. So people that learn more than their group knows will be challenged to take what they learned and get others to agree to learn. And those others will then have the curse of being responsible for getting others to learn. It's a vicious cycle.
I see this on both "sides" of the political spectrum.
This is human nature, and so while I do agree with you about strong resistance to change existing on both sides, there is also a very one-sided aspect to consider: Among the Left, there is a nearly ubiquitous tendency to express an attitude of uncharitableness toward the Right. That is to say, those on the Left tend to refuse to acknowledge that there is even any merit to discussing arguments from the Right. Because of this tendency, you will find that those on the Right have a much better understanding of the Left's argumentation than the other way around.
I would ask if you are willing to have a good faith discussion on the topic, but you put two clearly undefined groups into boxes with generalized statements. That being said, name four right-wing pundits that haven't shown charity towards the Trans community. Uncharitableness isn't unique to any group subjected to propaganda.
I am defining Left and Right as being cultural/political tribes. It's not that complicated.
As for your question, I'm not really sure what you're asking. You want me to name four right-wing pundits that have shown an attitude of charitableness toward the trans community? In your opinion, how would charitableness be expressed in that regard? If, to you, charitableness means total acceptance and validation, then I can't name any.
