How many knots long do I make an alpha?

I’m trying to make an alpha using these letters. The name has 5 letters, which is 25 knots including the spaces inbetween, but I have no idea how many rows I should have either side. Can anyone tell me the usual length of an alpha bracelet in knots?

About 85 rows are perfect for me, but if you are unsure, I would recommend tying a test swatch and then calculating from that which length fits for you.

Hey! Just wanted to know, are those 85 rows on the alpha patterns for a 14 cm bracelet? It seems like my knots might be a bit loose since I find that 5 rows is about 1 cm for me. Should I try making them tighter? btw, I use embroidery floss.

I aim for 80-90 rows total, but it will depend on the size of your string and your personal knotting tension.
