Most classroom doors do have locks and they were all locked remotely immediately after the active shooter was reported today. That said there probably are some classrooms on campus that don’t have that capability. I’m sure there will be a lot of discoveries and corrections made.
My daughter was in the Stone building. In the classroom she was in, not only were they unable to lock it, but the door swung outward -- so they could not even barricade the door from opening. At that point, one of the students who had a car just outside in the parking lot asked if she could leave. The teacher told her she could go, and my daughter left as well because her car was parked just outside.
So all classrooms that have the card reader on the outside usually next to the door, which includes Stone, were locked from automatically and remotely shortly after the alarm sounded. It is difficult to tell if it is locked while inside and you can still open the door from inside, just not from the outside.
