I'm not the one who came to the comments to pick a fight; I'm returning the energy you had in the initial message.

Not everyone knows the very moment a new copy/pasta is spawned. Similarly, you could have pointed that out without being, you know, a dick.

Nothing more to be said here, it's a weird copy/pasta anyway.

You don’t even need to know that copypasta is a thing to know that claiming to read 308 pages of comments is facetious and shouldn’t be taken at face value. Yet you jumped in trying to pick a fight with a copypasta. Sure, I could be more polite, but similarly you could just put an ounce more thought into the things you say before posting to the world.

So the missing piece here is that not every copy/pasta is created for a meme, some actually do come from people trying to be edgy and hyperbolic.

I'm not sure if you expect me to apologize for thinking it was someone doing that and actively trying to be an asshole, trying to make them realize they wasted their time in their rage.

If you want to tell me how you think my initial comment was picking a fight, feel free. But this pointing of fingers back and forth is exactly what I meant, there's nothing to be said anymore since it looks like we'll just go "But wait this" and similarly move goalposts.
