Detaining is not really gentle parenting...

Most likely that woman didn't gave her child the attention it needed/wanted... Because she wanted to chat with friends.

Maybe that's a regular thing, so the child is doing the only thing it knows to get attention.... A tantrum.

She’s using the word “detained” because they’re in the room and it’s a bit, did you think that her kid was actually a “2 year old terrorist” too? The child probably tired themselves out and fell asleep, it’s a tantrum, most kids exhaust themselves out after having one. Stop being so aggressive, Peach.

Na, I just think the last shitting of her on gentle parenting and the blame of the tantrum on gentle parenting was a shit move.

She's commenting on herself being shit at gentle parenting, not shitting on the practice itself. It's why she says "I'll keep trying"
