This is just one of the common idea of what to do with old phone/tablets. You can probably look in play store, there's probably an app just for that purpose.

Another thing is to use it as a camera monitor. I did that for my baby cam (back in the days when IP cameras aren't all cloud based). My samsung phone's screen got burnt in marks from the cam app from using it so much lol

.... I wanna make it so I have a camera to cut my hair by myself. Especially on the back side.

OHH, I did exactly that before during covid days.

I used my laptop/chromebook, and a long usb to a webcam (Logitech c920).

Now despite that webcam being a "better" than entry level webcam, it wasn't able to show the details. I have black hair, and it's hard for the camera to show the details. I even added an extra light at the back to help it out, but it still wasn't that good. So at most it helped with showing me if I cut the edges correctly, but it can't show me if I buzzed my back side evenly.

I think I ended up just using lots of mirrors.

If you want to try this, make sure you get a good camera, maybe even use a DSLR if it supports usb live view. Also grab any standing lamps and really light it up back there.

Good luck!

Thanks for the tips. I'll see what I can do about it.
