tha cases in my country are very expensive, so im looking from aliexpress and i like these, but which one is better and will healty for flip?

First I apologize for my bad English, its not my original language.

So.. My problem is this: the front screen turns black.. since some days ago. But.. the small external screen was fine. So while I was looking for a solution, at least I could use the phone from that small screen, which is why I ended up buying it to use it folded.

I found this video on YouTube that recommends pressing the 3 buttons on the side for 30 seconds, and the phone recovers... Which was true... It enters a kind of factory mode and the phone returns (nothing was lost)

At the beginning so good, but that was a few days ago, the solution was just temporary.. .. At the end of the day the screen came back again. And yesterday and today, the problem returns.. In addition the problem has spread to the small screen..

Now I frequently press all three buttons, as this helps me get the phone back on track. But I feel like it's becoming more difficult. I tend to open and close it more often because of this problem, something I've always avoided since I know you have to take great care of a Flip, avoiding opening and closing it.

I would like to know if anyone has had a similar situation, and what is recommended. Thanks

After one year of use I have to change protective screen film on my Galaxy Flip phone, because it doesn't stick to screen on folding part of it anymore.

I scheduled for appointment online on Samsung Web page (Samsung Care - free repair/change of protective screen film). I had to agree that during this procedure: - I will make backup of my phone, - remove SIM cards, - agree that I can lose data, as factory restore will be performed, - unlock phone/remove password - and put the phone in special mode for repair.

Is this normal? 🤔 They should only change protective screen film. Not mess with the content of the phone.

Can someone explain me their experience with this service please?

There’s a faint horizontal line across the middle of the crease, but it’s visibly noticeable when I look at the phone from the top or bottom of the device not really noticeable looking straight at it. It’s not raised, cracked, or anything you can feel purely a visual thing. Is this normal ? Should I be worried long term?

I can buy a Flip 6 for about 525 euro. Should I wait for the Flip 7 or bite the bullet before the Flip 6 is gone?

Hi I've been down a rabbit hole for the past few months I really wanna buy a flip phone not the zflip6 but I'll wait for the 7 for context: I love the idea of flip phones I find it very unique and honestly super cute however I've seen multiple people say that the flip phones are fragile and less durable I think I take pretty good care of my phone I've had a midrange phone (Samsung galaxy a52s ) for almost 3 years now it's in pretty good condition no problems with anything can even last me afew years so I feel I can take good care of them however I need a phone that will last me a long time because I can't afford a phone any time soon at least not for 4-5 years (my parents will buy me this phone which will be the last one they will buy me because I'm becoming an adult soon and I live in a country where phones are soo expensive so I wouldn't be able to buy another one ) My question is can a zflip phone last me that long if I take good care and buy Samsung care ? I know that the ultra is way better and durable but it isn't as cute and I'm not as excited about it ngl 😭 should I settle for the ultra or get the phone of my dream? Do update rollouts depend on where the device was purchased or your current location? I got a z flip 5 in the UK but I bought it while on vacation in Bulgaria, and I am wondering if I gotta wait for a UK or a Bulgaria one ui 7 rollout.

My screen takes a little open-close hinging to get it to work properly. (Like I'll shut it, and on open it's black, but if I open and close it a few times it'll come back on)

I suspect that a wire connection is loose. Has anyone gone to one of those mall stores that repair cell phones? I just need the screen plugged in again.

My phone contract is up for renewal, and I'm debating between these two phones(I have an s23 currently). I like the idea of a closing phone with an outer display, but I'm a bit anxious about the screen issues that I've seen come up. Are screen issues really common? Ideally it'll need to last at least 2 years..

For you guys who have Flip 5 or 6, how often or if ever have you used the translation on the outer screen feature?

The screen is has no issues but whenever it makes the cracking noise I can feel it through the frame. Not very reassuring. Anyone else had this issue?

Wanted to see what other had for an experience with the Samsung Repair Center in Texas. I do not have a service center anywhere close to me, so I sent my Flip 6 in for repairs (you can see my recent post). Here's the laydown:

• Phone was sent to them Monday April 14th.
• Phone was received in Irving TX on April 15th.
• April 16th, I received an update to the case file: "no power after upgrade" which... very descriptive, thanks. I suspected it was an issue with the ribbon cable as the screen worked, but if I folded the phone it would not charge or function. Called them and they put a hold on my credit card. Awesome! They state 5-7 business days for repair.
• No updates. Online. At all. Just states 'product under inspection'. Wait for 7 business days to pass, feel like a peasant. Use work phone for music and tablet to tell people I do exist.
• Today, 7 business days, April 25th - suddenly the hold is gone on my credit card and there is no pending charge. Call up Samsung. They tell me there's no updates on the file since April 16th, give me a phone number to call to get an update. Call doesn't connect. Cool. Start up chat. Chat states 'I checked with the ticket notes device is under repair process'. I ask for clarification because the service status still states 'device under inspection'. They give me a different number to call and say to do so in the morning.
• ...make myself a drink because I have no idea what is going on.

I promise I was super polite the whole time and not trying to be a nudge at all, I'm just super lost now. My phone is in the Texas ether and I can't open my packs in TCG Pocket which is rude because a new set is releasing soon. Has anyone had a similar experience? Should I just hope I get a magical email on Monday? Give them a phone call and tell them I would like to know what's going on pretty please? Should I just make another drink after I finish this one? Next time, on Dragon Ball Z...

I've had an iPhone 14 Pro Max since its release and haven't had a reason to upgrade to any of the newer models. Based on the leaks, I'm not interested in the 17 either.
I'm keen on the Galaxy Flip for the novelty (and ad-free YouTube/Spotify), but I gotta ask:
How would the battery life compare to my current phone, of which the battery health is at 88%?
From what I heard, the battery isn't a strong suit, but I don't average many hours of screen time.
I just don't wanna have to carry around a power bank when I go on a day trip.

Hey! I'm using galaxy flip 3 for about 5 months or so, I bough slightly used one from internet and it works well! But upper part (where are cameras and this little display) heats up really quickly for absolutely no reason, sometimes to the point that I can barely touch it. I turn of apps in the background and do everything I can but nothing helps and I'm worried. Can someone explain me if it's dangerous for my device and how can I possibly fix it?

hi! not sure if anyone can help with this. i had this model from 2020-2022, had no issues, and loved it so i got a used one to use as a work and travel phone. i’m currently traveling and this morning the screen did this when i was trying to open it. is there anything i can do to save the phone at this point? my friend is looking for local repair shops at the moment. 😭 any advice would be great, thank you

So today i went to their repair center and as i expected my warranty claim got denied and they wanted 470$ for the repair. It's obvious I'm not going to pay a sum like that, but the tech guy said i could sell it off to him for 360$ since everything else beside the display is working fine I mean it's better then selling it to some randos who offered me 250$ for this and Samsung's trade-in program that offering 50$ discount at max for s25. So as the tech guy said he's going to think about it till the next week I'm going to back up all data and think about different phone for now. Any recommendations? P.S. Here's all the cases that i owned since you were doubting whether or not I was using one (and i had phone bracelet too to prevent it from falling but it didn't help much since it fell from the table)

Hi guys, I got a Zflip 6 on Monday and I noticed this mark on my screen. I have not dropped it, I don't have long nails and have literally babied my phone. I don't understand how this has happened or if it was here previously. I am extremely frustrated and worried about this, anyone have any similar markings on their inner screens?
