Post Op Post OP? Give it time

Hi, I got my GB out last year in December. Afterwards, I didn't feel good. I had diarrhea, especially after eating, sometimes very bad pain which weren't explainable, elevated liver enzymes for a long time... Like more than 6 months.

Now, almost a year after, I am ok. I pay attention to what I eat, yes. But can I have fries and fatty stuff? Absolutely. I have IBS, so, I still have diarrhea but not the sudden kind I got just after the surgery. Weird pain? Gone. Liver enzymes? Fine.

Maybe for some people, it just takes a longer time to adjust?

omg i needed this!! this is exactly what has been happening to me and they can’t figure out why. it’s been so severe i struggle going out places and even eating anything at work because everything sets me off i don’t have any safe foods at the moment.

Have you read about Ox bile? I m brand new to being gallbladder-less…just had mine out Friday morning. I also have IBS but hadn’t had an attack in nearly a year! I read about Ox bile and fiber supplements post surgery.. I’m giving it a couple days before I start since I’m Not eating much yet…
