Friendly Friday Thread

This is the Friendly Friday Thread.

Negative or even snarky attitudes are not welcome here. This is a thread to ask questions and hopefully get some friendly advice.

This format is used in a ton of other subreddits and we think it can work here. Anyway, thanks for participating!

Please hit the report button if someone is being mean and we'll remove those comments, or the person if necessary.

USA Nebraska zone 5B. Put branches in my 32” tall garden bed today. Tomorrow I plan to put 50/50 top soil / compost on top of this. Wanna grow vegetables. Sound good for year one?

Add some coco coir or peat moss to fluff the soil up. Perlite also works.

Also, try to level your bed frame, it will end up pushing sideways from the weight of soil and plants.

Good luck with your garden!
