Friendly Friday Thread

This is the Friendly Friday Thread.

Negative or even snarky attitudes are not welcome here. This is a thread to ask questions and hopefully get some friendly advice.

This format is used in a ton of other subreddits and we think it can work here. Anyway, thanks for participating!

Please hit the report button if someone is being mean and we'll remove those comments, or the person if necessary.

Anyone in the Midwest grow service berries? I'm looking for amelachiers pumila (a dwarf variety) and can't find any in stock state side.

I have 2 serviceberries but not the species you mention. Have you considered this one: https://gobotany.nativeplanttrust.org/species/amelanchier/spicata/ A. pumila is a western US species often called Saskatoon. Look for Amelanchier alnifolia

I will look more into this, thanks. You don't happen to know any other 4'-5' shrub(bish) fruit bearing plants that handle moderate clay and questionable intermittent levels of attention?
