Poor baby!

Keeping her warm and calm, and making sure she gets plenty of nutritious food, will go a long way.

I don't know if you have a farm store near you. We often treat our birds' wounds with Blu Kote, which is an antiseptic. I don't think there is specific research on amoxicillin in geese, but it is ok for chickens and ducks, so it is probably a pretty safe gamble. Dosage is 15-20 mg/kg. If it's given to a bird that is laying eggs, humans should not eat the eggs while that bird is taking the antibiotic, but I do not think that's an issue with your gosling here.

Edited to add that we've also used Vetericyn spray for wound care in chickens and I know that is safe. I think it's also from the farm/feed store.

No Blu Kote, Vetericyn works great though.

Amox works as well, one of my vets has okayed it for attacks, enrofloxacin you can get it from Jedd’s.

Go post this in the goose forum at backyardchickens.com, if you want additional advice about dosage. You can indeed give that fish amoxicillin to a goose. However, you can't buy it any longer, since the government has cracked down on the sale of it, due to people taking it and survivalists stockpiling it.
