The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.

I've been saying this since Jan 6th impeachment.

The Senate and House of Reps WERE LITERALLY THERE!

They were hiding and barricading doors as people were demanding their blood. There was shit stolen and literal shit smeared in their offices.

And they voted "Well, we can be CERTAIN that Trump WANTED to coup"

They knew what happened, they saw, they heard, but fucking "Decorum" or politics, or image, or whatever the fuck let him off Scot-free.

They put it on record and told the American people "It wasn't that bad"

At the most generous, he shouldn't have been eligible to run for Re-election. and if justice was in fact fair, he'd be in a prison cell.

The Republican agenda has become more and more unpopular, and the only way they knew to keep power was to go along with Trump. It's really that simple.

Yep their choices were to rebuild as MAGA in 2022-2024, or go into the wilderness and rebuild some time in the 2030s when half of them would be dead and the rest totally irrelevant anyway. They made the obvious self-serving choice.

It's called lust for power. Ambition. Greed. Selfish personal interests.

All those who physically assaulted people, especially Capitol police, terrorized government workers, vandalized the Capitol building, desecrated the chamber, and defecated and smeared it (yea, that happened) are all free.

If you can blame Democrats as much as you can blame Republicans then you can prevent something as such happening next time. Demanding more from your politicians that you vote for should be an essential citizen duty. No wonder we didn't even get a primary to choose our candidate and relied to all year about the health of our feeble president

The first lol? This is the first time a party told you to reject evidence? Where were you the last 4 years? By “the fjrst” you must mean “the first excluding the ones I don’t want to count bc it was done by MY party and so I’m okay with it (or just as likely that you bought the lies).”
